Holy, holy, holy is the One who sanctifies all things that are sanctified. + + + +
O Thou eternal foundation and strength of all things, mortal and immortal, which delight in Thy face and in the glory of Thy name, consider the foundation of our fragility and enter into the weakness of our inward parts; for we have become empty, whose salt is not, nor has it any savor. Fortify and make us strong in Thee and in Thy strength: have mercy upon us, have mercy upon us, have mercy upon us, that in this world our strength may be in patience, and after this life, that we may ascend unto Thee. Amen.
God, make my mind stable, and to be seasoned with an intellectual leaven, free of all sensible mutability...
Observe not the iniquities {Lord Jesus Christ} of we who hope in your mercy, who have been redeemed by your precious blood. Amen. Send forth, O Lord, the word of Thy Gospel, in order that Thou might melt and stir up our hardened hearts from the cold of our vices, so that we may, in Christ, accomplish the purging of our sins, so that the cloud of ignorance might be expelled from our hearts, and streams of tears might flow out with the grace of the Holy Spirit in penitence for our salvation.
O beginning and fountain of all wisdom, gird up thy loins in mercy, and shadow our weakness: be merciful unto us, and forgive us our trespasses. For those that rise up saying, "there is no god," have risen up against us saying, "Let us confound them." Our strength is not, neither are our bones full of marrow. Help therefore, O eternal God of mercy; help therefore, O eternal God of salvation; help therefore, O eternal God of peace and comfort. Who is like unto Thee in the altars of incense? Before whom the choir of heaven sings, "O Mappa la man hallelujah." Visit us, O God, with a comprehending fire, brighter than the stars in the fourth heaven. Be merciful unto us and continue with us, for Thou art Almighty: To whom all things of thy breast in heaven and earth sing glory, praise, and honor, saying, "Come, Come Lord for thy mercy's sake."
Amen.
Fiat Jeovah Zebaoth: Fiat Adonay, fiat Elohim, O beata, et superbenedicta Omnipotens Trinitas, Concedas mihi petitionem hanc, modo tali, qiu tibi maxime placebit.
Almighty, Everlasting, True and Living God stretch forth, now, to my help: Lord of Lords, King of Kings, Jehovah Lord of Hosts, hasten to my assistance... Teach me to properly sense, and to rightly discern, {O Father of all things,} For I desire your Wisdom, because it is all that is: Give your word to my established practice, {O Father of all things,} and fix your wisdom in my heart. O Lord Jesus Christ {you who are the true wisdom of your eternal and omnipotent Father} I most humbly beg your Divine Majesty that you consider it proper to send me the speedy help of some pious wise man and experienced philosopher for realizing and perfecting above all fully those tings which will be of greatest value for increasing your praise and glory. And if no such mortal man now lives upon the earth who is fitting for this work, or who may have been assigned by your eternal providence to the performing of that service for me, then truly I most humbly, most ardently, and most faithfully ask from your Divine Majesty that you grant to send me down from heaven your good spiritual ministers and angels, namely Uriel, Gabriel, Michael, and also Raphael: and {from your divine favor} any other true and faithful angels of yours, who may completely and perfectly train and teach me in the true and accurate knowledge and understanding of your secrets and wonders {concerning all your creatures, and their nature, properties, and best use} and necessary knowledge for us mortals, to the praise, honor, and glory of your name, to my firm solace and otherwise {through me} the solace of the greatest number of your faithful, and to the confusion and ruin of the wicked. Amen.
Sanctus, Sanctus, Sanctus Dominus Deus Zebaoth. Honor omnis, laus et gloria tibi detur in perpetuum. Amen.
O eternal God and loving Father, great is Your care and mercy over us, for though we were led astray by Satan and the spirit of darkness, You have brought us home. Though we were blind, You have opened to our eyes {our eyes also opened} to the true path and the line of understanding. Happy are we, whom You love so dearly, and to whom the care of our health is so dear. Therefore, we will praise Your name and return from our errors. We will acknowledge our sins and follow Your commandments, for You, O Lord, are only just and true, and Your mercy is everlasting. Your laws are sweet, and Your very loving-kindness is mighty among us. Holy, holy, holy, Lord God of Hosts. All honor, praise, and glory be unto You forever. Amen.
Gloria tibi Domine, rex cæli et terræ; quis es, et venturus es.
Your mouth, O Lord, is a two-edged sword, Your judgments are perpetual and everlasting: Your words are the spirit of truth and understanding: Your garments most pure and smelling of incense: Your seat without end, and triumphing: Who is like unto You, amongst the heavens: or who has known Your beauty? Great are You in Your holy ones, and mighty in Your word amongst the sons of men: Your testament is holy, and undefiled: The glory of Your seat, and the health of Your sons: Your anointed is sacrificed, and has brought health unto the faithful and unto the sons of Abraham. Your Spirit is everlasting, and is as the oil of Comfort: The heavens therefore gather themselves together, with Hallelujah ...
Laudibus te celebrabo Domine Deus quoniam non prævaluerunt Inimici mei super me. Domine exercituum clamavi ad te, et tu salvasti me. Convertisti dolorem in gaudium mihi, dissolvisti luctum meum et circumdedisti me lætitia Misericordias tuas in æternum cantabo. Notam faciam veritatem tuam in vita mea.
I will glorify you with praises, O Lord God, because my enemies have not prevailed over me. O Lord of Hosts, I have cried to you, and you have saved me. You have turned pain into joy for me, you have dissolved my grief, and you have surrounded me with gladness. I will for ever sing your mercies. I will make known your truth in my life. My mouth shall speak forth your righteousness and your benefits at all times: without doubt I do not know their number… But I will give thanks until death should carry me off. I will sing as long as I shall be. My mouth shall speak your praise: and let all living things celebrate your Holy Name, for ever and always. Praise the Lord, O you angels, that are powerful in virtue, and doing His bidding, are obedient to the voice of His word. Praise God, all His Host, servants of His who do His will. May every thing which lives praise you, O Lord.
Tunc quidem, Agnus, in medio platearum tuarum, stabit, ô Hireusalem: Edictàque promulgabit populo tuo, civibusque tuis. Omnes Nationes, ad domum Davidis conlfuent. Matres, suos informabunt Infantes, hiis verbis: Prævaluit Veritas: atque Dei Nomen, tuus erit vigil ô Civitas.
Rejoice, O you sons of men, lift up your hearts unto heaven: for the secrets of God are opened: and His word let out of prison: Rejoice, O you sons of God, for the spirit of truth and understanding is amongst you. Rejoice, O you that are of the Sanctuary, for you shall be full of wisdom and understanding. Rejoice, O thou the house of Jacob, for thy visitation of Justice is at an end, and thy visitation of Mercy is beginning: The four winds shall gather thee together, and thou shalt build up the trodden wall. The bridegroom shall dwell with thee: And lo, behold, the Lord hath sworn, and wickedness shall not enter into thee, neither shall the spirit of the highest go from thee, but thy fathers' bones shall have rest: And thou shalt live eternally. The blood of the Innocents shall be washed away from thee, and thou shalt do penance for many days. Then shall the Lamb stand in the midst of thy streets, O Jerusalem: and shall give statutes unto thy people and inhabitants: All nations shall come unto the house of David: The mothers shall teach their infants saying, Truth has prevailed, and the name of the Lord shall be the watchman of thee, O City.
