This webpage hosts the text of A Course in Miracles as a means of propagating peace on earth; the lessons also serve as a Shavian reading primer for initiates within The Syndicate of Thaumaturges ~ whose obligatory hymns of pure vowels are provided within the page of hourly observances; they may also be used by all who dare not name the Absolute, but nonetheless yearn to praise.
“The whole of God's name also includes meaning and spirit and air and everything at once that is in them or through them or from them; no, I cannot hope to name the maker of all majesty, the begetter and master of everything, with a single name, even a name composed of many names; Divinity is nameless or rather all-named since God is one and all, so that one must call all things by God’s name or call Divinity by the names of everything.” ~ Hermes Trismegistus, Corpus Hermeticum, Sermon to Asclepius, §20
“A universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary.” ~ A Course in Miracles, Manual for Teachers, Introduction, §2.5
While we appreciate what has been steeped in Christian idiom, we recognize the humanitarian doctrine of Jesus only for the sake of a most basic ecumenical concord; avoiding intractable and often moot religious arguments, the guild seeks fraternity in way of a radically apophatic, fiercely non-dogmatic, vision of Hermetic Piety & Pyrrhonian Logic.
Our practices are based on principles of ritual which transcend any one mythology. Aspirants are entitled to maintain any religious affiliation or cultural opine they may have been raised with, sought out and / or adopted; the only caveat is that one ground oneself in the worth of all spiritual systems fostering love & wisdom and be open to an eclectic study of humankind's great teachers. Religious study is necessary to an itinerant profession, as our ceremonial practices should be tailored to service local communities and level with beliefs at a common foundation of truth.
“If you become my disciples and listen to my words, these stones will minister to you...” ~ Christ Jesus Emanuel, Gospel of Thomas, §19

While valued internationally as the current lingua franca, it is impossible to write modern English in true alphabetic principle while constrained by Latin letters of Roman convention; to do so is to be lost in orthographic archaisms and force illogic upon all learners. We can remedy this insanity, read; translate.
